SDW Events run Manurewa Business Association's Annual 6km Totara Park Walk. Shaughan Woodcock from SDW events wanted an events videographer to capture the highlights of this event, which lasts for around 4 hours.
The event itself attracts people across the spectrum. Young and old across different nationalities. It gives them a chance to experience their own backyard which helps them respect and understand nature. Capturing this event on video was a lot of fun! It started off with a very high energy zumba session which had people sweating and smiling at the same time and got them warmed up for a few uphills coming their way. The walk takes you through some farmland which then descends into the beautiful and pristine Totara Park. After the walk, there were bouncy castles for kids, sausage sizzles, face painting, music and dances. It was a pleasure to have been the event videographer for this super cool event.
