Techspace have been operating as resourcing and digital consultants for years in Auckland but as the market demand for it's digital arm grew, they decided to create Techspace Digital as it's own brand. The new website was already being prepared and they contacted us at Valo Commercial to produce the video content to accompany the new brand launch.
From the outset, Techspace were very clear about their objectives and values. They wanted the explainer video to be pragmatic and to the point, not overly fluffy - the same approach they take with their business. They take pride in making the complex IT world simple. They decided on a casual speaker approach to make themselves more relatable and real. We sent them a brief and once we understood their style and preference, we organised a quick in person catch up to meet CEO Chris Wilson, Lead Digital Consultant - Bevan Russell and Marketing Manager - Jodie Wilson.
We had to film 3 scenes - Intro, What we do & how we work and Use cases. The pragmatic approach of Techspace made filming a breeze and the edit was clean, using graphics and imagery as cutaways. The videos were ready within a week and were shared on the Smart CIO conference platform by Techspace and will be used for future marketing campaigns.
