The ARC NZ is a brand new NGO based in Auckland, run by frontline animal rescuers - Jo, Rochelle & Vonne. Independent animal rescues are disjointed and struggle to make an impact where legislation is concerned and this is the gap the ARC was created to fill. They stand for Animal Rescuers Collective and will represent the rescuers at levels required to pressurise govts to change legislation.
The ARC used our video production services to create a series of short films interviewing some of the most known faces of the frontline rescuers. In this video, we interviewed the founder of Pixies Animal Rescue - Charmaine Wolmarans to under stand her story on why she began the rescue and the difficulties she faces on a day to day basis. It is hard hitting and emotional and helps us realise the compassion a human heart is capable of.
